Carolina´s Reflections: Journal of my Remedial III Course H1003
Reflection: XX
Topic: Timetables and arrangements
In this class, I learned about the difference between timetables and arrangements. In the past course I learned it, so this class was a review. Also I did exercises to differentiate between these two topics.
- Mention the difference
In the case of timetable use the present simple and it's for schedules. In the other case, the arrangements use the present continuous and it's for futere events.
- Give some examples
- The meeting starts on netx week
- They're presenting them show at the midnight
- He comes for the dinner at 7:00 pm
- We're going to New york for bussines the next month
- Importance of doing reading and grammar quizzes
Practicing grammar and reading through quizzes is important to improve our abilities. Likewise, it helps us to know how we have progressed, our weaknesses and that we have to study more.
Reflection:
This theme just like others, I had already learned in the past, but this is focused on business. That's why I think I should do exercises to know how to use them appropriately. And I'll see videos explaining more about the subject.
