Topic: TeamWork (Unit 2.1)

In today's class, we continue with the theme of simple and continuous present. But I learned a new vocabulary about business, too.

  • New vocabulary learned

  1.  On budget
  2. On schedule
  3. Behind schedule
  4. Under budget
  5. Ahead of schedule 
  6. Over budget 

With this vocabulary, I'll write some sentences.

  • Write a sentences per expession.


  1. Office supplies are on budget.
  2. This inconvenient wasn't on schedule 
  3. The package with materials arrived behind schedule.
  4. You don't worry, this is under budget.
  5. We finished the work ahead of schedule. 
  6. The realization of the construction over budget

Topic: Present Simple and Continuous

In this class, I learned about the difference between prensen simple and continuous. 

  • Difference between the two  structure
  1. The present simple is used to describe habits and facts, it doesn't use the verb to be. Add the auxiliary do or does by the negative and interrogative form. 
Example:
  • You run in the morning every day.
  • Do you run in the morning every day?
  • You don't run in the morning every day.
When using the present simple is the form of the verb with the 3rd person singular and if the verb ends in s, or a similar sound such as sh, ch or x add es:
  1.  She swims in the pool every week.
  2. Does she swim in the pool every week? 
  3. She doesn't swim in the pool every week. 
       2. The present continuous is used to describe actions in progress now or temporals.              The verb to be is its auxiliary in all its forms.And it is added to the end of the                    verb.
Example:
  •  We are staying in Seul for three weeks.
  • We aren't staying in Seul for three weeks. 
  • Are they staying in Seul for three weeks? 

  • New vocabulary that you didn't know
  1. Schedule
  2. Budget
  3. Abroad 

  • Why is important to know the difference between these two structures?
It is important to know the difference between these two structures so that when speaking with other people in English can be understood.

Topic: Ordering in a restaurant

In this class, I learned how to order in a restaurant properly.

  • Why is it important to order in a restaurant properly?
Because in the laboral life, the way one expresses yourself is very important since it demonstrate culture and elegance that  it help in the business.

  1. Discribe the practice done today.
In the last class, I did oral practic about services and products. We had to make two conversations in where we had to become customers and sellers.
 
     2. Mistakes mades in your conversations.
With my partner we had few grammatical errors in the activity. But it was when we talked about our conversation that I made more mistakes in my speech.

    3. Why is it important to make these kind of oral practice?
 I believe that these oral practices are very important in the course, because we must be able to develop our speech.

Today in the class, I learned about producs and services.
  •  Did you know this vocabulary?
The vocabulary of this lesson I knew it because it is used in my career, but it was here where I would dig deeper into it and use it in other circumstances.

and with that I would make sentences as:

  1. The company manufactures parts at two plants.
  2.  The engineer install a software in the PC
  3. FedEx deliver many packs worldwide
  4. After the concert they were given supplies

  • What's challenge about this activity? 

The challenge in the activity that we realized was the organization of our ideas because because we take a lot of time to agree.
I think I should study more to better understand my teacher's instructions.

Today in the class I learned about business' presentation.
  • What did you know about this topic? 
 Previusly I knew about this topic, but only the basic.
  • What did you lern today? 
For the reason, today I could to learn more deeper as to can espose in public and the grammar I can write my dialogue. 
  • How will you use this information in the future? 
 In my career, I will use this topic in my future exposes with people from whole world.

Topics: Simple present/ Talking about my job

Today in the class, I learned about the simple present and how I can talk about my job.
  • Difference between simple present (to be) (other verbs) 
I seen the difference between 'simple present' and the verb 'to be' or other verbs, because in the simple present doesn'nt use 'to be' and the negative form and interrogative are added 'does' -if it is second person or do '-If it doesn't  second person -, and in second person is added 's' in the verb in the positive form too.
  • 2 sentences using the structures:

  1. I eat a sandwich of chesse.
  2. I don't eat sandwich of chesse.
  3. Do you eat sandwich of chesse?  
  4. She wants to go to the park
  5. She doesn't want to go to the park
  6. Does she want to go to the park?

  • New vocabulary learned (examples):

Also, I learn new vocabularies about the responsibilities of business.

For example:
I'm university' student and I'm charge of to do my homework, projects, presentations, and so on. I manage my time to organize my day and I responsible for my scores.
