3. In the professional life it is important to use this type of vocabulary. Being able to express yourself correctly and give a good impression.

Reflection:

The growth that has had in the lake of this course has been very remarkable since it is easier for me to learn and learn the lessons. However I will keep my studies, I continuing to practice.

Topic: Present Perfect with adverbs

In this class I learned abour a new topic, I felt that's easy because I can understand the structure and its use. I did sentences for practiced this topic. 

• Structures checked

 Present perfect:

Subject+have/has + verb + complement

 Adverbs with present perfect: 

Subject+ have/has + verb (P.P.) + for/since comp.

  

For: used for periods  

Since: used for specific time

• Examples:

1. He has graduated two years ago.
2. The company has started out five years ago.
3. We have met six years ago in a party.
4. I haveran a marathon one years ago in Mexico City.

• When to use it

This topic use when you have to describe events from the past that to date are still alive.

Reflection:

I was able to learn this subject very well, however I plan to practice more exercise, since sometimes confused the order of the structure. I'll see videos where this subject is used in the professional field to practice.

Topic: Timetables and arrangements

In this class, I learned about the difference between timetables and arrangements. In the past course I learned it, so this class was a review. Also I did exercises to differentiate between these two topics.

• Mention the difference

In the case of timetable use the present simple and it's for schedules. In the other case, the arrangements use the present continuous and it's for futere events. 

•  Give some examples

1. The meeting starts on netx week
2. They're presenting them show at the midnight
3. He comes for the dinner at 7:00 pm 
4. We're going to New york for bussines the next month

• Importance of doing reading and grammar quizzes 

Practicing grammar and reading through quizzes is important to improve our abilities. Likewise, it helps us to know how we have progressed, our weaknesses and that we have to study more. 

Reflection:

This theme just like others, I had already learned in the past, but this is focused on business. That's why I think I should do exercises to know how to use them appropriately. And I'll see videos explaining more about the subject.

Topic: First conditional

In this class I learned a new topic, this is 'first conditional'. Previously the teacher sent us a video explaining the structure and uses of the new topic. And We did exercises about the topic.

• What I liked about this class?

Of this class what I liked the most were the activities we did. They were very fun and dynamic. 

• Mention the rule of the conditional

The rule of the first conditional is:

If + subject + verb (simple form) + complement + " , "

                                                           [cause]

        {This past is in present} 

  

subjec + will/to be (+ going to) + verb (simple form) + complement 

          {This past is in present}

1. If you work hard and make important friendships, you'll become a good leader.

Reflection:

This topic was simpler, but I think I should go over the rules, since I forget it sometimes. 
And I'm looking exercises in the support book to keep practicing.

Topic: Discussing past projects

• Relevant aspects in class

In this class we remember old lessons about the simple past and other topics. These activities are very relevant because they help improve and verify our knowledge, as well as check our strengths and weaknesses in past issues.

• Any new vocabylary? Mention it.

I didn't learn new vocabulary, in this lesson we only remember past exercises.

•  Did you improve your listening?

I noticed that I can understad more when I listed the track, in the previous semester I can't understand, but  now I can linten best, this situation enjoy me, because this mean the my practis and efforts have borne fruit.

Reflection:

 I am pleased with the growth I have had in all areas (such as reading, speaking, vocabulary and more). And I think I should keep practicing so they do not forget me. 
And I'm going to look for exercises on the internet so I do not forget what I've learned.

Topic: Making arrangements

In this class, the teacher taught me how to use the expressions 'will' and 'shall'. Also I practiced my speaking and listening and I learned about the tools I will use in my work area.

• Use of these expressions

These expressions are used in the professional area when you want to meet with a colleague for work, etc. These serve so that you can offer to do something for your colleague in the laboral area.

•  Importance of making arragment in the market place.

The arrangement in the market place is very important, because when you want to meet a colleague or boss in a formal way, you must have these knowledge.

Reflection:

I could understand this topic, so I think I practice this subject periodically, as it will help me in the future. 
And I'll be looking for blogs about this topic relating to my career.

Topic: Too/enough

In this lesson I learned about too much and enough, their differences and structure. I did exercises on the subject using the copies that the teacher gave us.

1.-Did you find this topic simple or dificult? Explain

 This topic was very difficult to learn for me. I was confused with the grammar rules, since this factor in my weak point. I think that i should study more about this topic.

2.- Can you mention the rule?

Too:

In this case, first is 'Too' and then the adjective:

Too + adjetive + complement 

Enough:

In this case, first is the adjective and then it's 'enough': 

(not +) + adjetcive +  enough 

3.-Can you write 4 examples?

• The budget isn't enough to buy the project materials.
• The time isn't enough to study for my exam.
• The topic is too difficult to study.
• Correr demasiado por la mañana debería ser peligroso.

Reflection:

This topic was very confused for me, since I didn't understand the grammar rules, so I will practice the grammar rules and I will make some examples. 
And I'm also checking pages where I can enrich my knowledge about this topic.

Topic: Discussing Past Performance/Inventions

In this class we practiced the speaking and fluency, we discuss inventions, their advantages and disadvantages, as well as their contributions to humanity.

1.- What did we talk about in class?

 Because we talked over that the simplest inventions are the best, for example the bicycle. We spoke about its qualities and benefits.

2.- New Vocabulary 

Really I didn't use new vocabulary but I practiced the vocabulary that I learned in this course.

3.-Examples and sentences

• Studying before of you will present a test is the best option to succeed in the course. 
• Sometimes university life is complicated.
• If you don't know to drive by car it could be dangerous.

Reflection: 

I feel happy because I can appreciate my progress in this course, and at the same time I can see that the learning in the past It has served me. But I can't trust myself, for that reason I will review my previous notes to not forget what I learned. 
In the meantime, I'm see exercises on this subject.

Topic: My dream office presentation

In this class, I presented to my classmates and teacher how I would like my dream office. I felt very nervous even though I was studying hard. At the end I did it well, but I forgot a point of the rubric.

• What aspects did you take into consideration to design your dream office?

The aspects that I took to design my dream office were the supplies and equipment needed for me to work, my tastes and the facilities for my comfort.

• How did you prepare yourself for your presentation? 

I made a draft to guide me in this I put sentences to help me. And I practiced my presentation with the help of an online english synthesizer.

• Any new vocabulary used?

I didn't use it. Because I used all the vocabularies learned from remedial II.

• How do you know that your office is going to be like the one that you desingned? 

I don't know. Maybe my future office will not be what I want. But I will do my best to make it comfortable and ideal for working well.

Reflection:

Speaking activities are very difficult for me, because I still think in spanish and not in english when I speak. Therefore, I will practice more my speech, vocabulary and fluency, with that, I will feel more secure and I won´t fear when I speak in public. 
And I should listen podcast to fine tune my listening and thus improve my speaking.

Topic: My dream office

Today in my class, I made more exercises about the superlatives and I learned a new topic. I did a draft where I described how would it be my dream office and my job.

• What was challenging about designing your dream office?

The biggest challenge for to make the design of my dream office was to find the words correct to describe my ideas.

• Were you creative when designing it? 

Yes, I was. Thinking about how my future work life will be and how my future office will be, excites me.

• Did you enjoy designing your office?

Yes, I did.  Because I designed it the same as I imagined it.

Reflection:

I learned this topic last semester, so it was a little easier to understand. However, this time is focused on business, so I think I will have to practice this topic for this area. 
And in the meantime I'm practicing my talking about the text that I did.

Topic: Comparatives, superlatives, as...as

In this class I learned about the comparatives, superlatives and as ... as forms. Continuing with the previous theme, the activities carried out were related to the professional field. Comparing workshops, technology and more.

•  Mention the rules of both structures

The teacher taught us the rules and structures.

Comparatives:

 When are short adjetives is added to it 'er' and 'that' after the adjetive. If it ends with 'y' is removed 'y' and you added ''ier''.  Finally, if the adjective ends in consonant-vowel-consonant, the last letter is repeated and 'er' is added.

When are long adjetives is addded to it 'more' before the word and 'that' after the adjetive.

When are irregular adjectives the adjectives change completely, for example: Good-Better.

 Superlatives:

 When are short adjetives is added to it 'est' and 'that' before the adjetive. If it ends with 'y' is removed 'y' and you added ''iest''.  Finally, if the adjective ends in consonant-vowel-consonant, the last letter is repeated and 'est' is added.

When are long adjetives is addded to it 'mots' and before the adjetive you add 'the'.

When are irregular adjectives the adjectives change completely, for example: Good-the best.

As...as

You used 'as...as' to you can show that two things are not equal using not + as + adjective + as.

3. The wine of Peru is more delicious than the one of Brazil.
4. The ice skating is funnier than football.
5.  He think that the beach is the best of world.

• From the mistakes you made, how can you make improvements in the future?

I think that I'll should to practice more exercises about this topic, I still confuse  the ''as..as'' form and the negative form the superlatives and comparatives forms.

Reflection:

I'm going to do the exercises done in class again and I'll planned to practice in the British Council exercises about this topic because in spite of I learned this structures I realized that I still have a lot to learn from this subject and that I can use it efficiently in my future job. That is why I will perfect it.

In the class of today, I learned about how comparing offers. I did activities on the comparing online stores and physical stores.For example, I studied about the difference between online store and traditional shops.

• How I can use it?

I think in my work area I can use to offer my clients the best option over money. Or to talk to my colleagues in my future work.

•  How can I improve the use of this vocabulary?

I feel that I should practice more with this vocabulary and I will write examples using these words to improve my skills.

Reflection:

This topic was new for me. I believe that I improved in my english comprehension because I could understand many sentences, however I should practice more in my grammar and vocabulary, because sometime I once forgot the words that I knew. And I'll practice this topic using situations about my career for the future.

• How I felt giving my presentation

I felt very nervous. I was practicing my presentation and I felt safe but when I was my turn my security was gone.

•  Why is it important to give presentations?

It's important because in the labroral life the presentations are a factor necessary; especially in my career.

• Did it help you for future purposes? (be honest) 

Yes, it did. These practices will help me in my future purposes, since my career is directed to the international business environment, which means that in the future I should give my presentations to foreigners in English.

Topic: Gerunds and infinitives (Unit 2.2)

• Mention the difference of this grammar structure.

The difference between the two structures of grammar is that in one the verb is used with gerund and the other is not.

In the first form, 'ING' is added after the verb, only when one of these verbs is used before:

4.  Can´t stand
5. Not mind
6. Love
7. Enjoy
8. Avoid
9. Finish
10. Stop 

Its structure is:

Subjec + verb + verb + ing + complement

Whilst, in the other form don't added ING after the verb when you use the others verbs, but the second verb is put in infinitive form.

Its structure is: 

Subjec+ verb + verb in infinitive (to) + complement

In today's class, we continue with the theme of simple and continuous present. But I learned a new vocabulary about business, too.

Topic: Present Simple and Continuous

In this class, I learned about the difference between prensen simple and continuous. 

• Difference between the two  structure

1. The present simple is used to describe habits and facts, it doesn't use the verb to be. Add the auxiliary do or does by the negative and interrogative form. 

Example:

• You run in the morning every day.
• Do you run in the morning every day?
• You don't run in the morning every day.

When using the present simple is the form of the verb with the 3rd person singular and if the verb ends in s, or a similar sound such as sh, ch or x add es:

1.  She swims in the pool every week.
2. Does she swim in the pool every week? 
3. She doesn't swim in the pool every week. 

       2. The present continuous is used to describe actions in progress now or temporals.              The verb to be is its auxiliary in all its forms.And it is added to the end of the                    verb.

Example:

•  We are staying in Seul for three weeks.
• We aren't staying in Seul for three weeks. 
• Are they staying in Seul for three weeks?

1. Discribe the practice done today.

In the last class, I did oral practic about services and products. We had to make two conversations in where we had to become customers and sellers.

With my partner we had few grammatical errors in the activity. But it was when we talked about our conversation that I made more mistakes in my speech.

    3. Why is it important to make these kind of oral practice?

 I believe that these oral practices are very important in the course, because we must be able to develop our speech.

Topics: Simple present/ Talking about my job

Today in the class, I learned about the simple present and how I can talk about my job.

• Difference between simple present (to be) (other verbs) 

I seen the difference between 'simple present' and the verb 'to be' or other verbs, because in the simple present doesn'nt use 'to be' and the negative form and interrogative are added 'does' -if it is second person or do '-If it doesn't  second person -, and in second person is added 's' in the verb in the positive form too.

• 2 sentences using the structures:

1. I eat a sandwich of chesse.
2. I don't eat sandwich of chesse.
3. Do you eat sandwich of chesse?  
4. She wants to go to the park
5. She doesn't want to go to the park
6. Does she want to go to the park?

• New vocabulary learned (examples):

Also, I learn new vocabularies about the responsibilities of business.

For example:

I'm university' student and I'm charge of to do my homework, projects, presentations, and so on. I manage my time to organize my day and I responsible for my scores.
